It’s been so cold lately here in the City of Champions that my mind has been drifting to warmer times, already looking forward to the spring, and that reminded me of something. I took this video back in August, right before it snowed, and forgot all about it. Thinking of warmer times reminded me, and I thought I’d post it here.
I would always see these birds on my way home from work, and I thought they looked and sounded like hawks. I’d see them almost every morning in the summer, and I took a couple pics of them in the past, although I don’t think I posted them anywhere online. Last year, there was a whole family of them, and I’d walk past them every morning, watching them and listening to them, and wondering, “are these cool birds hawks? In Edmonton?”
So I took this video and posted it to YouTube in the hopes that someone would see it and let me know. Well, I went to look for it, and found that it was posted as “private”, so nobody has even seen it all this time. Lol @ me, oh well. Here it is, I hope you enjoy it if you dig birds, and if anyone knows just what kind of birds these are, or if you’ve seen them yourself, please let me know in the comments!
